So that has become an evangelization tool for having a clearer and more easily understandable text, not strive for classical language which usually guides these translations.
The new version, however, does not use slang or regionalisms, a factor that did not allow to be lost the biblical style.The principles followed in this review were the same that guided the work of translation Todays English Version.
The translation of King James as well as other existing good translations in Portuguese followed the principles of formal equivalence translation.
Already the NLT, guided by the principles of translation functional or dynamic equivalence.Anyway, it is a very useful translation by approaching the biblical text of the commonly spoken language by people on a daily basis.We will use the voice of Cid Moreira for the project.
